ENGLISH:
Understanding Child Development
When it comes to how a child develops, it can be helpful to identify some general tendencies and expectations. This workshop will provides some general expetation and markers about a child's development with the purpose of giving the Sabbath School leader, teacher or helper broad overview of this topic.
Faith Development and Life Stages
In this workshop sabbath school leaders and teachers will be able to better understand faith development and life stages. It will also help to see there are different stages of this hard to measure spiritual reality.
Learning Styles
When you teach a child or a group of children, it's easy to teach in a way that makes sense to you. But that may no be the way it makes sense to each child you teach. This workshop will guide you through 3 stages of the learning cycle.
Temperaments
Understanding temperaments helped us understand natural uniqueness. But most of this related to adults. Would the same be true for children? This workshop will take you through the 4 main temperaments in the context of children.
Multiple Intelligences
We often think in terms of only “yes” or “no” when it comes to intelligence, as in, “Are you intelligent: Yes or no?” But all of us have intelligence. We need to consider whether we tend to think more in terms of words or numbers.
Entering the World of Kids
It’s essential that you make the effort to learn and understand the world of kids. As kids see that you are interested in what interests them, they will in turn become interested in what interests you, namely, God and His Word! This provides you with a pathway right into their hearts. It’s a lot of fun too!

Start With A Spark
Every Youth SS needs something to get it going—a spark. That’s true when beginning a Youth SS for the first time, and each week as you begin SS. Collect some ideas you can use next Sabbath, and consider the key principles so you can create your own sparks.
The New You(th)
All young people go through some type of identity discovery during their teen years. This includes their spiritual identity. The Youth SS leader can play a key role in young people finding their new identity in Christ. Learn what to look for, and what you can do during this transitional time.
Ideas, More Ideas, and Even More Ideas
Each Sabbath Youth SS leaders need new ideas for the program for that particular week. But where can you find these, week after week, without spending forever or repeating your favorite topic each week? There are resources, created specifically for Youth SS. Do you want access?
Count Me In
The most frequent activity in Youth SS is listening to someone speaking from the front. Change that! But how? This workshop provides 10 different categories that can increase participation beyond sitting and listening. This engages the youth and opens avenues for the Holy Spirit’s activity in SS.
When Youth are the Church of Today
Some say, “The youth are the church of tomorrow!” while others say, “The youth are the church of TODAY!” Uncover the secrets so you have the keys to move from just saying it. There are steps you can take for the youth of your church to be the church of today.

By registering first. Then at the time of the event you will login with your credentials provided by you at the time of registration to access the conference content.
We will provide live streams and community chat on this website, as well as workshops on the Zoom platform. You can only get access to these by registering and logging in on this website for the event.
That's a great question. Because every person is required to log in using their own login information, each person needs to register individually. Registering individually will also allow individuals to come back to the archives and rewatch the workshops and general sessions on their own time.
Although we don't allow group registrations, you can host a DIT Watch Party at your church or home for the live stream general sessions and workshops. You can have a watch party for the Adult, Children's, Youth, or Young Adult teachers or have them all together! But workshops are tailored for each teaching level, so you couldn't collectively attend multiple workshops at the same time when you have multiple teacher levels together.
For more information on the DIT Watch Party, go over here.

Although mobile devices will work fine for Do It Together, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer for the best overall experience. You may find yourself using the Zoom app, looking at a PDF in Acrobat, and also taking notes in your favorite notes application during the workshop and using a desktop or laptop provides the best flexibility for this.
To participate in the convention, you will need a fast internet connection. If you are using a desktop or laptop computer, you may find that connecting it to your modem or router, using an ethernet cable, will provide you the fastest internet connection.
If you are using a mobile device, please check your cell signal or wifi signal to make sure you are getting the best connection possible.
The Zoom application is required for all workshop tracks.
